commissions

Creating art is utterly fulfilling to me and making a bespoke piece for a specific person or for a specific home or work space, can make a painting process extra special. Thank you for considering me as an executioner for your ideas, I feel humbled!

I am currently open to accept watercolor-, gouache-, ink- or oil- paintings for commissions and paint impressionistic-realism and abstract pieces. You can look at my portfolio for ideas. A few ideas for commissions are: landscapes (maybe a painting of your favorite holiday-scenery or your childhood home), flowers (maybe your bridal bouquet, to commemorate your special day), portraits (of the people you adore) or an abstract piece expressing a feeling in your favorite colors. NEW: custom inventations! You can order customized, unique inventations for your wedding/party/event. Please send me an email for more information. 

The process of creating a piece is often a long one, which requires preparation, planning, money and inspiration. Therefore, you should be aware of the following:

·         A commissioned piece can take me somewhere between two weeks up to three months to finish. (shipping time excluded)

·         Clients pay half of the agreed price at the start of the process.

·         I like to share every bit of progress with my clients, to make sure we are still on the same level, especially in the first and last stages. Therefore, it is very helpful if clients check their mail regularly and respond with their honest opinions.

1. Where you live & who you are.                                   
2. The size you want the painting to be.
3. What medium you want me to use. (look at my portfolio to see the different media used)
4. Whether your painting will be portrait or landscape orientation. (horizontal or vertical)
5. A description of your ideal painting.
6. Screenshots of some of my paintings you like and of photos/paintings you love that you find for example on Pinterest. (if the files           are too big, you can always use wetransfer.com to mail your images.) 

I will let you know as soon as possible whether I take on your commission and what price it will be. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any other questions or would like to discuss your commission in more detail, I would love to brainstorm ideas with you.
